Does anyone know if there is a minimum amount that you can open a bank account with. I am thinking of opening an account with itisatbank as it the nearest to karsiyaka.

I don't think there is a minimum. We opened a YTL with a few hundred YTL and were invited to open a Sterling account at the same time which we did without any deposit.
