Suddenly all my website, including http://www.3cyprus.com and http://www.ontheisland.com are coming up with a "service unavailable" message. Now what's that all about? I had 1600 visitors yesterday, 700 were between 11-12am. Perhaps my ISP is having problems coping with the volume as I did publish the launch to several major websites around the world. A check of visitor's locations confirms that readers are from around the world.

It should of course be dot co dot uk not dot com.

Looks like the North Cyprus Free Press thread has been removed by cyprus44 moderators! Looks like the newspaper was needed



after all. It is currently running from 3cyprus.x10hosting.com. Turkey have amended their laws restricting free speech I do hope this extends to here. You can also follow all this on Twitter on http://twitter.com/northcyprusfree which is also currently having problems loading. Twitter was used by people during the Iran demonstrations and was therefore taken down by the government there. Dutch's thread has disappeared as well. Is Big Brother involved? I feel an article coming on.

I think they did it because you're always slagging off the hard working, efficient and good value for money services that the island has to offer.If I was a builder, I'd be pretty naffed at having people say I was a t*sser 'cos it took me only four and a half years to hand over the wrong Kocan. (I'Ve still got the house to finish by the way). I'd be really mad, if only I could get my act together.
