| I've done this journey twice by car, when you come off the ferry in Tasucu just head northwest accross Turkey towards Istanbul,Turkey is very mountainous so give yourself plenty of time for that part of the journey. After Istanbul it's a long straight stretch to Bulgaria. I then went through Serbia,Croatia,Montenegro, austria,Germany, belgium and then down into calais.Insurance can be taken out at the Turkish border,if you have UK insurance it should cover you in EU countries.I have not had any problems in either direction,I stayed in cheap hotels each night. If you go give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the journy. |
