Bought a pair of prescription sunglasses without eye test at Canada Optik next to Astro Supermarket. Just gave them my old pair and they took the prescription. Excellent service and very reasonable price designer frames with 50% off they only cost me 200tl.

I have read that any glasses are half the price if you go to Guzelyut instead of Girne. Last year I tried to buy verifocals sunglasses in Girne, I was quoted £400 and a months wait. I bought Gucci in London for less and got them in 4 days.
