I would be intereseted to know if the ex pat community read Star newspaper, Cyprus Today, neither or both. And do you read the new midweek Cyprus today or just the Saturday one.

We buy all three. Think The Star has improved greatly since it first started.

Rocking. Yes, it is the advertisement - sorry, newspaper of the Medview man.

And it's bloody awful. Poor grammar. I saw a friend's copy last week and couldn't make head nor tail what the stories were about.

Cyprus Today for me. And both when I'm here.

I get both Cyprus Today's partly for Stephen Day and Tom Roache.

I also take Cyprus Star for a different view of the news.

So glad someone says they read Cyprus Observer. Once considered a 'good read' and still has its fans, although not all the shops sell it! But it does have a good crossword and some sensible political thinking. It is of a different ilk to the other two.

Lots buy C.T for TV porogrammes etc, and the Star is definitely appealing to a broader section of the community.

Try them all for a good cross section view of N.Cyprus.

Or be like many of us - don't buy any, just read them on the shelves, just like a lot of folk in U.K do in W.H.Smiths.

I think the Star has improved greatly since Dan took over as editor. Its nice to read a story from a different angle sometimes.
