RE MSG 8 What was wrong with what was written in message 2? NN simply pointing out the need for a computer services company. Just like I did in my message (MSG 6). Let's not let this thread get hijaked like all the others.

Msg 9: "NN simply pointing out the need for a computer services company" Can't see no message from NN!!! Can understand why H&N are getting paranoid about him, if you even see posts when they are not there!

Hi CarrieRBag If none of the above helps fix your problem I have a pretty good idea how to clear it up. More than happy to come over and have a look for you. No fix - no fee. Dan (PC-Clinic) 0533 885 7467

Check your virtual memory settings as per msg 4 Check that you HD is not full or close to full (virtual memory uses the hard drive) If your virtual memory settings are ok and you have hard drive space and you are still getting this message it is probably down to a particular program that you use that has a memory 'leak' If htis is the case you need to try and identify which program it is that is 'leaking'. The easiest way to check this would be to bring up the task manager (press cntrl + alt + del all same time ONCE). With task manager open goto the processes tab and then click on the heading memeory to sort by memory usage so that you have the largest using process listed first. If there is a program with a memory leak you will see the memory usage climb over time and this should then identify which program is causing the problem.

Hi Carrie we used this company to fix our laptop whilst on holiday. They were very efficient and cheap as cheese. If my memory serves me right, they are based near Guildo's...SAYCOM COMPUTERS info@saycomtechnomarket.com Hope this is helpful. Julia
