has a new 'menu' and weekly 'diary'. We were there yesterday and this is what Salih is trying to do -

Monday - traditional fish and chips with one beer/soft drink for 15tl

Tuesday -Cyprus night - music etc. 30tl Must ring to book 0533 874 20 13

Wednesday - Normal menu (Salsa lessons etc will prob start again at end of month)

Thursday - Meze and Chicken Mexican 20tl

Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunch - Normal menu - remember this is a meze and standard main course for 20tl (some things are a little more but still meze, fruit and coffee all in)

Sunday night he would like to try a buffet with donor kebab for 18tl if there was interest.

We love it down there, so please people, give it a try, but do ring if going on a "special" night

(and no, I have no monetary interest - just friendly)

Directions to Green Valley



Coming from Girne towards Lapta after the turning for Riverside (at the gold lady Statue) you will see Turk Bank on your right about 100 metres after that there is the turning for Mare Monte just go down there and it is 200 metres on the right.

Sorry everyone, dont know where my reply with directions went - floating in the aether somewhere maybe! But directions below are what I would have said!! (did say) Its the stadium road for those that watch the Pumas!! Sign on right if coming from Girne direction.

Good luck to Salih I hope he does well as I know he has a difficult time of it since last year. We spent a fantastic Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Salih and friends round the roaring log fire. Totally unplanned, great food, great music and great company.

I second the original message. Was one of the 'crowd' at Green Valley yesterday, and it is great value for money, and Salih offers that unique thing called 'Service'. He is trying to offer something for everyone, but I prefer a leisurely meal with chat with friends, although my husband might be tempted with the Fish and Chips. But of course for him it has to be Friday, and I guess one needs Papal dispensation to change the days of the week!



Give Salih a try. Well worth it.
