As there's quite a bit of negative feedback on here I thought I would put a nice post on! On our 2nd visit to Zirdeli in Esentepe on saturday we had another great fun night and the food was as fabulous as last time. I thought perhaps it was a bit of a fluke finding somewhere local that makes such a good, fun night out but I can't wait to go back for a 3rd visit. Maybe next time we'll even manage to finish ALL the food I would also like to say that the owners(?) wife, the oriental lady, has to be one of the hardest working people I have ever seen. Bless her, she never stopped all night yet still looked cool as a cucumber and was smiling all the time - a remarkable lady. Think the next visit will have to be monday for fish and chips - yum yum!

Hi cronos

Zirdeli's Cafe Bar is just past The Wedding Park on the right, at night it's lit up.

Always had a great night in there, live music and dancing with serviettes flying about.

Definitely a place to visit if you're in Esentepe any night

Thanks Navek....I take it then it is in Esentepe village itself and not one of the new conurbations ?

Hi cronos,

Yes, just follow the road into Esentepe,

passing Tumba Restaurant on the left into the square,

follow road passing Kim Market shop on the left,

carry on up the hill passing The Wedding Park on the right,

once past The Wedding Park,

Zirdeli is on the right,

car park on the left.

Enjoy your visit.

There are other good eateries also in Esentepe,

have a drive round, visit some, no bad ones

Navek

We went last week to try the fish & chips that are on offer at 10TL.

The mesa was olives, pickled veg, humous & a limp salad (looks like dressing had been on it a long time).

Fish was 5 voppa (large sardines). Chips were good.

Had a plate of fruit as well.

We weren't impressed & won't be going back.

I haven't tried the fish and chip night yet but will let you know how we find it!
