By "early" means about 0700. Office opens 0800 and first in queue get in about 0815 as soon as the staff have booted the computers and arranged for their teas, [for those not observing Ramadan].

I went on Monday, let me explain how it went. Got there 7am, if you look at the steps leading to the building there was a an A4 sheet of paper where people were writing their names, I was number 12 on the list. At about 07.15 a more official looking sheets of paper arrived and the names were transffered onto that. At 07.30 the doors opened and one of the staff began handing out tickets according to the the list. I was informed previous to going that the staff only processed 15 in the morning and 15 in the afternoon??? Actually how it works is that there are 5 staff, you are allocated a number and name of the staff member, so obviously the first 5 names on the list were given the number 1, the next five number 2 and so on. I was surprised the system went so well? We were out by 08.45 done and dusted. Altogether there were 42 names on the list by 07.45 so yes, get there early. Dont forget your 6.8 TL residency stamp, the cost was 175TL for the residency, hope this helps?
