Can you help witha timid dog we took on at 6 months old who refuses to go for walks? She's terrified outside our garden (she was even scared to go out into the garden when we got her - poor little mite) and no matter how much we coax, sweet talk or bribe with treats she just isn't interested in going walkies!

I'll give you a call as soon as I remember to put credit on my phone She was a bit better last night with lots of coaxing and telling her she's a very good girl and of course the treat when she gets home! We've still got a long way to go to get her comfortable with being outside - poor little girl.

Oh DD that reminds me of my little JRT we just had put to sleep. We should have called him Houdini as we even caught him scaling a 5 foot fence - our neighbours border collie bitch was in season and he was determined to call over to introduce himself!!! He used to love disappearing in the early hours (and we had no street lights) to go ratting in the barns and we would often find him fast asleep in the hay bales - bless him. Maybe we could jumble yours up with mine and we'd both get a dog that has a good attitude to outside

Lena, unfortunately, money is way too tight at the moment, but maybe in the near future.

booitsme...even though these 2 are quite obviously rather naughty...i don't know about you, but i love the character...even if sometimes it becomes very frustrating...i don't really mind that much, it's part and parcel of who they are, and i think a little naughtiness keeps us on our toes!

We have three of the most unruly (untrained), nutty-as-a-fruitcake bitches you could find, and not small dogs. We only take them out to remote places, where we are unlikely to be confronted by man or beast because they lack social skills (are hostile). OK, this is all my fault as I spoil them rotten, treat them as humans, and have not bothered to get them trained. I don't really want them to sit, stop, heal and beg, just to stop barking at every sound or movement or person. Can you help?

As they say, there are no bad dogs, just bad owners......not having a go frontalman, we all spoil them and then have to suffer the consequences or get some help.
