In my experience there is now such thing as a secondhand good outboard. better to bite the bullet and buy new, if you ae doing so go for a four stroke.

Try the Marine shop going up the road to Lefkosa, about 500mt from the roundabout, she has all sizes of Yamaha engines, parts and does all the services needed. It's called sevketoglu, and they have a very good name for them selves. GOod luck Angela PS We have bought two engines from them now a 25hp and a 90hp never had any problems.

I agree with Hippo Buying a 2nd hand outboard is a very high-risk purchase - better to spend less on a boat, and get a new engine if at all possible. The last thing you want is an unreliable engine in a boat - if you're out at sea, the wind and waves are picking-up, and it's starting to get dark, you want 100% confidence in your engine. Mark
