| The TRNC Mergers and Monopoly commission are investigating complaints from members of the general public who feel that the hairdressers federation has not been transparent in how it addresses individuals qualifications for the practice of washing, cutting, blow drying and "designing hair". The main complainant is concerned that while a hairdressers federation exists with it's so called rules and regulations they HAVE NOT under TRNC law listed the names of ALL legal hairdressing establishments in the TRNC that the federations patrons can use. Accordingly to the TRNC and Hairdressers federation EVERY salon must have a director or hairdresser with a City and Guilds or NVQ/HND/Undergraduate degree in the said profession. Experience does not account "sorry two years in the army Kurdish border as a soldiers barber does not entitle you to chop hair in the TRNC" "BE WARNED". |

| The TRNC mergers and monopolies commission have given the hairdressers federation 28 days to appeal, in the mean time as a gesture of support for all those TRNC and expatriate clientele the federation will publish firstly in the official gazette (Kibris) and then it's sister paper the Cyprus Today all official and qualified hairdressing employees and establishment along with the property owners and tenants who fulfill the obligations of the federations manifesto. |
