Can anyone tell me the best place and the cheapest place to buy those grids that are on the overflow channel of a pool. And how much per metre. Preferably west of Girne. Thanks Chris

Give Pool Land in Karsiyaka a miss, we were quoted £60 for one of the corner squares, when we questioned the price the bloke said " you have a pool, you pay the prices", I think not pal. PoolsRus charge something like 40tl !!

everon, People keep on asking this question The goods are manufactured abroad They are imported to TRNC, and paid for in Euros or Dollars The selling price, allowing for mark-up, taxes etc has to be based on the buying price So to avoid having to re-calculate and re-quote the TL price several times a day as the exchange rate varies, the selling price is quoted in terms of the original currency used to buy the goods - the price then remains stable.

Our Committee used Mr Pipe, in the parade of shops next to the right of Erdener, he charges from memory £10 a metre length, there are 2 types on offer, re-cycled plastic which is narrow and newly manufactured which looked and felt more robust, so we opted for the new as they were the same price. He let us have some samples so we tested them both before hand and found that the new stuff was stronger and it will last longer too. Michelle
