| A demonstration will take place next week Wednesday 16th September 10.00am at the Turkcell HQ in Nicosia, all 3G users are asked to take their modem to the office and demand their money back from Turkcell or for the 40% hike in the monthly tariff to be abolished. They already have the market share and need to be reminded that monopolising an industry will not be tolerated be the TRNC residents. |

| Ok, it was just an idea, but if enough subscribers want to vent their feelings then we will need to organise it a bit better.
Firstly a list of names to my email address including those who can provide transport and their location, I can organise a press release to those that "need to know", parking in Nicosia will be at either the immigration offices or the car registration car park, both are big enough.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Although it is illegal for expats to demonstrate in the TRNC, I can see no reason than by pure coincidence we all happen to gather at the customer service dept at the same time and date, "it is a small world" |

| Great idea. I get connected on UMTS and then HDSPA. Within minutes I'm booted out and on edge, and then GPRS or GPS. Then a few minutes later I'm disconnected and back on UMTS. Then a few minutes later....well you get the picture.
Service is worsening. Less than a year ago Turkcell promised a revolution to change our lives. Fastest, most reliable and cheapest they promised. And do we get an apology for their failures? No. We get the blame. They change the goalposts and then hike prices.
A couple of months ago, I got a great service. I said so here. Today it is poor. And that's being kind. |
