I have a new, well 4-month old, water dispenser. The one with a 19 litre bottle on top!

The cold "tap" has started to drip.

How do I replace it, and where can I get the spare part?

I can go back to the dealer, but I believe it's a simple problem that can be solved with your advice.

Thanks

Try the army method first: kick it left, right and centre

If it did not do the trick, let us know and we will come up with plan B.

Firestarter.

As this is such a HOT topic, replies came in thick and fast. Ismet, as the Most Helpful Member (NOT) got his reply in before mine, even though it was sent at the same time. It just goes to show how unfair life is!

I'm waiting for UKTV to give me his solution.

Anyway, it was the blue bit!

Hi

I bought a new tap for my water cooler at a cost of TL25 each from Arcelik (what a rip off), went south for the day and bought a spare pair for euro 7.95! I bought the 2 and fitted them myself (once the cooler was empty of water that is). I hate buying from the south when I can buy here but I hate being ripped off more and these taps are identical!

Won't do that again and Arcelik wouldn't give me my money back just a credit note so now I have to buy something else from them or lose it!

My cooler has leaked water before and we found it was the bottle leaking not the cooler so check that first! Also make sure the taps have been tightened on the cooler before you put on your new bottle that might help to.

Hate to upset anyone - we had the same problem - went to Arcelik 50 TL for two new taps - but they didn't fit so got a credit note (fortunately had to buy a new toaster, so was able to use fairly quickly). Arcelik referred us to Tektan (think that's the right spelling) 12 TL for two new taps and they fitted them for us!!!

To find Tektan - go down the street towards 1001 (from the school) take first left past army and then at the T junction you will see it on the right hand side - great shop - my partner was like a kid in a sweet shop...... how come shoe shops don't have that effect on him!!!!
