| As 'part timers' in Northern Cyprus i.e. we haven't quite broken the ties with UK yet so spend 6 or 7 weeks here then 6 - 7 weeks back in UK our first port of call when we arrive from UK usually late Saturday night is DOLPHIN at Alsancak.
Sema, the lady that runs the place treats us like long lost friends, the food is great and we find it's almost as cheap to eat out at DOLPHIN than buy stuff in & eat at home.
Just thought they deserve a plug!

AS you go through Alsancak village towards Lapta it's on the left just after Ataturk's statue & car park.

| Maggie, we arrive Sunday & this will be our first port of call. Good food, good service & excellent value for money.
Plus we can walk there in a few minutes.

I'll be on the scooter wearing the Michael Jackson bracelet whilst watching a certain DVD on a mobile dvd player, just glad I haven't got a West Ham towel draped around my neck as well, talk to you next week.

| Our first port of call on returning to Alsancak is Tervetuloa, just down the road towards the Merit hotel. Brilliant starters, all free, water, free, sweet free and coffee and brandy free. All you pay for is the bit in the middle. |

The picture I have of you scooting along with your ear phones on and Jeannie round your shoulders, with a Turban made up of a West ham towel, brings tears to my eyes, even MJ would laugh at that ) )
