Dear El-tel I don't know about d-mart but both Dopi and D supreme rely on breaking the code ( pirating) of legit pay tv. In the case of Dopi they "share" a legal sub" and they share it via satellite Historically, pirated TV also lasts so long... Many people think it will "last forever", but I advise paying monthly, in advance, and by credit card.. if they wont accept that..

I've just bought a slingbox as we have been "bitten once, twice shy" and are keeping our sky subscription going in the UK. Hopefully by doing it this way we won't loose quite so much money. Karen

"best" to to get a system that WON'T disappear - one where you can LEGALLY get the signals Nilesat only requires a 1m dish and you'll get approx six Eng lang progs without payment OR you can fit a good 1.8m dish and get ( currently) ITV, Five , Five US, Five life, c4 BBC News 24, CNN,BBC Radios 1-4 , BBC interactive F1, Tennis, Footie scores, etc.. FREE - no subscrition OR you can subscribe to SKY and get many more subscription channels OR Digiturk OR but / share a 4.2m and get most UK channels BBC1-4, CBBC, CBeebies , etc for FREE . no subs.. OR use one of the "apparently" several co. that advertise they can offer lots, but are stealing content and want annual fees up front..

If you want a really reliable satellite system, get an enormous dish, here, or a small dish and stay at home. Then enjoy Sky, the ONLY reliable one. Tony

Mark, We are using Nilesat and I have noticed we have a strong signal for Hotbird. Is there any way we could add more English channels by using Hotbird. Is it possible to use both satellites? We have a Botech box flossie

Hi Flossie re 8 there are SO many sat receivers - it is impossible to know all the makes / models / features :( IF you model has DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control, pronounced "Die-Sec" ) capability you CAN add a second, third and more Satellites to look at .. BUT. As Hotbird will NOT give you any more useful Eng lang stations in CLEAR - ( more channels, ALL scrambled) there is no point.. it is FAR better to go for a 1.8m and get some free UK content, or bring out a SKY box with sub card, or just a sub card - if a frequent visitor - you won't get SKY movies or Sports - they are tied to a box.. but you WILL get Discoveries, Nat Geos, Cartoons, Dave, MTVs, UK Golds,Hallmarks etc ! If you have any Qs - check out my profile..
