Hi All Could someone point me in the right direction please ? Will be coming over the Mountain road from Bogaz (Famagusta) and along past the golf course at Esentepe. Will I find Algadi Beach along there somewhere ? Kind regards Jamie

hi jamie bit in reverse frommmemory ,but im sure somebody will correct me ......from famagusta over the mountain towards girne ,you should have on girne side at the top of hill on the right a cafe ,then dowhill 1mile you will see chelsea village and a unfinished large development on right ...1more mile to bottom of hill a bad left hand bend with a right turn to accapulco hotel and road to tatlisu etc . turn right and head towards esentepe .....another 1 mile or so and the signs for algadi beach appear on the left ,turn first left for turtle hut project ,keep going another 1/2 miles on the left for turning down to algadi beach and car park where the cafe is . hope thats clear enough kav

jamie You have 3 shots at it! After the Golf Club you will see a sharp right side road, signposted to a development of 10? Sea/beachfront villas, follow this road past the numbered plots and turn right through the shabby conservation huts. Follow the tarmac road to a carpark where you have the main beach below you to the left and the second, quieter beach to your right down a paved pathway. Miss this and you can take the 2nd access on the right as the road sweeps downhill, signposted Alagadi Beach Restaurant (Excellent and good value, parasols for hire). Straight onto the main beach. Miss that and as the road sweeps uphill turn right. Into Alagadi village, (excellent restaurants there, especially Benoz & St Kathleens), drive straight through the village to the carpark above the beach. Rob

jamie,... errr,.. just to clarify, I am assuming you will be travelling West past the Golfclub, towards Girne. The beach cafe/restaurant is probably the best first introduction to Alagadi beach. Enjoy! Rob
