Hi

Would love to visit and stay in the Troodos village of Kakopetria for a couple of nights. Is it possible to make the trip using a TRNC hire car, if not are there any coach trips to the area or other means of getting there and back from Kyrenia? Any help or advice appreciated. Many thanks.

Yes you can take TRNC hire car to south providing you have tha car hire company's approvel(?)

jfoggy, it does depend if your car hire company approve of the fact to take your hire car across the boarder. I advise you check with the company before making your trip there......i know of some car rentals that don't allow taking the car to the south.

Thanks for your replies, will be sure to check with car hire company before we make our trip. We visited the Troodos area many years ago and loved it, have always wanted to go back, and stay in the same hotel. It will be a trip down memory lane.
