| My in laws moved over 3 weeks ago only to find the property they rented was not as expected. the builders clean hadn't been done there were no plates cutlery or pans, it looked liked the builders had been sleeping in the beds and there was no water and electricity. They had to go and stay in a hotel for the next 12 days.
My husband and I had booked to come out a week later to help "settle" them in. We found them depressed and ready to come home, their dream in tatters.
In the next 12 days we have managed to find them alternative housing, an excellent little car, sourced their medication requirements, sorted out satelite connection and bought a great second hand tv, all thanks to this board and it's members.
Some of you we met and may not have done business with you but all of you were helpful and really nice people.
This is what this board is all about to me. We would never have acheived this without it and all the pointers in the right direction.

| Pugsey, that's great, obviously sorry for the bad start. But it proves cyp44 & it's members can still help out.

| It wasn't all bad, just the start. We had some lovely nights out together and met some great people.
Our internet access was very intermitent while we were out there, as was my phone so apologies to anybody we missed or couldn't get back to. all offers were appreciated even if we couldn't say so at the time.
We are now back and freezing!!!! Can't wait to return, maybe for good. |
