I gather this place has changed owners and has a few problems but one night we went to the Hillside for a meal and I asked for some fresh fish and was told by the young waiter that all they had was frozen fish in a box from the supermarket , no wonder the plaice (no puns intended) was dead as a dodo ...

Happy Feet As you know, the only way fish caught in the North Atlantic and the North Sea gets here is frozen. So what is the point of your posting please?

Fresh sea bream and sea bass are in abundant supplies. Each fish costs no more than 5TL. So, both postings are factually correct, but, as usual, misunderstandings occur. Frozen fishfingers are available in all supermarkets.

The Pia Bella was fine, they just need to do things just a little bit better, for instance we arrived around 8pm hot and tired from our flight, we were then whisked to the dinning table carrying bags , the option of being shown to our room to have a nice shower and change of clothes would had been better and the guy who carried our bags waved a £10 note at me as if to say you can tip me now !!! Not only me but a few people said to me that when they were asked if they wanted drinks from around the pool they never recieved any change when paying by cash, I don't mind tipping waiters for a good service as they do a hard job at times but change should be given back even if it was just a small amount. The hotel is very clean and the people were friendly.

We called in on St David's day, just for a leek initially. Place looked ok so we had a meal. To celebrate the day I ordered Welsh rabbit. They didn't say they had none, just plonked a plate of cheese on toast in front of me. It was nice though.
