We watched perform at the Kings bar a few weeks ago-foul mouthed ,drunken extravert who screamed his way through his performance. Hope he never comes back!!

We went as a party of 12 and were disappointed. Not that we are music critics, and probably tone deaf, but maybe he should give up the ballads and concentrate on the rock! We guess it was only packed because there was no entrance fee? Regards Smiffies

Smiffies why bother to go, it was a tremendous night. Jonnie is a true professional, he gives his all and plays for the crowd, it`s not about money with him, he just loves getting on that stage and entertaining his audience, what about Messindorma (cannot spell it) didn`t the hairs on the back of your neck stand up?. I remeber when he first came here and what a difference now. Jonnie we wish you wealth, health and happiness, we will miss you and I am still feeling emotional. GOOD LUCK

He should stick to the singing and stop trying to be funny, he isn't. Not impressed at all.

I don't know any entertainer who can pull in the crowds like Jonnie can. He has done so much since being in the Trnc - charity work, helping trnc musicians, expat musicians. Maybe his not everyones cup of tea, but he will be missed, don't think any entertainer here can replace him! In a few months time i'm sure everyone will be moaning that their is no entertainment here and it is of poor quality! for me, seeing 300 + people smiling and dancing, is enough to say he is liked and appreciated here, and will be missed x

Yes he is a talented young man and I have enjoyed watching him several times, without doubt he will be missed and I wish him all the best for the future, but there is no need to mention, in almost every breath, that he is from Wales.

Re message 4 I understood this forum was all about free speech. We were not rude or offensive just expresing an opinion. We had heard such a lot about this entertainer, that's why we "bothered to go" Regards Smiffies

Smiffies, I did not say you were rude or offensive, and it is all about free speech, but why post a negative on a thread that is a positive, why not just keep quiet? Jonnie was obviously not to your taste, but the crowd who stayed to the end proved he was a good entertainer.

Oh dear Scruffdog, methinks you may be offended by our "negative comment". We were not the only ones to post a negative comment see message 2, Do you advocate that we should only post positive to positive and negative to negative? Surely not, otherwise how would we have a democracy? Are you implying that we were out of order by posting our opinion of the performance? Surely not, as you say it is all about free speech. In fact there were lots within the performance that was enjoyable, if you read our comment closely it refers to the rock songs as being better than the ballads. Don’t take things so much to heart, put on your Rat Pack or Swing CD and chill. But,we do apologise if you feel offended by our post. Regards Smiffies

I think Johnnie is a very talented guy and a great entertainer, he will go far, shame about his language on stage. I understand he is very proud of being Welsh, nothing wrong with that.

He was absolutely brilliant last night, I enjoyed every minute and never even noticed him going on about being Welsh........guess I was too taken with his performance. This is an entertainer who has the X Factor. His performance was professional, slick, and entertaining. The sound quality was excellent. I wish him well and hope he makes it big time. Good luck Jonnie........you are great !!!!!!

message 25, Sorry but I think thats awful, I don't think it does him justice. We heard him back in early August and although its not my scene his type of music, he was very good, but this, sounds like throat strain.
