Turkey lowers base rate by .5% to 7.25%

Just read that as of 18th September 2009, Turkey has lowered the base rate by .5% to 7.25%...



Obviously this will mean that savings rates will reduce accordingly over the next few weeks...





Good job none of us were lured here by low property prices and high interest rates on savings....





We're having a soil chilli this evening in preparation..





Garry Monger's missus is cooking it....





Anyone remember Continental paying 22% ???

Nick. Was Mrs Monger in the Shiraz Cafe Bar last Wednesday lunch time? certainly looked like it could be her, ordered a large meal and an extra plate of chips, only her could have shifted it all, good job she had long arms she couldn't get up to the table!

I say that's a bit 'fatist' isn't it woodspeckie? poor thing probably had 'gland problems' at least that's what most overweight people seem to say "I hardly eat anything, honestly - it's my glands!" Funny thing is they are usually munching on food constantly! ha ha ha
