Drove past today and it looks like they are no longer trading. Does anyone know if they've moved into new premises or closed for good? I enjoyed their menu and found the staff/owners very pleasant

Yorkie Yes the girls have called it a day and closed for good. Like you I thought that they provided a really good menu and their cakes were delicious. If you haven't been there already, Cassini's Sandwich Bar opposite the Karakum Lemar is really worth a visit. Fantastic selection of sandwiches with some really interesting fillings, baked potatoes, salads etc. Family run and the staff are very friendly. Regards Paul

I remember reading a post about having a menu for locals and another for Brits/tourists, etc. Same items, just different prices. Was this the same place?

The "Search facility" really works. I typed in Mugz, (not Mugs) and hey presto, I was correct. No Alzeimers for me, yet! http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/18956.asp Message 14. If anyone is remotely interested.

Cyprusjoker. Point taken. I was only the messenger. Perhaps there were other reasons for the closure?

I don't know about mugs but it isn't Cassini's, they are very reasonable. Just love everything they do in there, especially their Ciabatta's.

Pinkchilli Re Message 3 I think that it is worth mentioning that the particular post you are referring to was about the DVD shop NEXT DOOR to Mugz having one price for locals and another for tourists. Regards Paul

mess 8 - Correct Paul, the stunt was pulled by them on me... Apparently the lady who owned Mugs is married to the DVD shop man.... mess 9 - No prices, surpisingly... The best DVD Shop is the one opp Lemar - 4 DVD's for 10 TL, always good quality and immediate exchange/refund in case of problem - you'd be daft to go anywhere else....
