I don't see any problem with someone praising a meal or service they have received. Others have posted comments about various other restaurants and or service they have received.



How is it any different from posting about a certain Bar or Hotel, some of which also receive regular reviews on here?

exnaval whatever your prob is with regards to us please come and tell us. We will try to rectify it. I do not advertise any more only events on the event section. I notice Bar 8.8 Queens Bar Old Mill etc are free from your comments. To suggest that I give the mods free meals is so very wrong. I do not beleive I know you or you me. You endeavour to point out every time we get a mention WHY. If someone likes Silver Rocks The Hut etc no mention from you. Please do not take away peoples experience of places they enjoy unless of course we are a competitor of yours. Thank you for taking the time to read this

If you take the time to read, our so call adverts never come from myself or lilli, they always come from sadisfy customers that feel other should benefict from their experience. Perhaps you should take the time to find out for yourself if all this people are right or wrong before comment negatively about it. You are right to say that no other restaurant get mention so much but as far as i know nobody go to the lenght we do to try to please our customers. Do you know another place in Northern Cyprus where you can have a REAL Italian food cooked by an Italian Chef at reasonable price (less than 7 quids for a pasta)?. If you find one I will be more than happy to pay for your dinner out. We stock black pudding,haggis, parma ham etc. where else can you get those products in TRNC.?. So next time you think to complain about something get your facts right and after have your saying. Cook something to eat it's easy, to create a special meal it's something else.

borodave if you read properly i am a chef and i have the ability to cook anything. We stock black pudding and haggis because lots of customers love the way i cook them. they are on our black board as specials on certain nights but our menu it's all Italian. As usual you need to be sarcastic and i think it's part of your persona. never mind.

We have been to Guido & Lilli's many times and just wish we could go more often, superb food, terrific service, wonderful people - we always recommend people to go & they have never been disappointed.

guido you bleat on about being an italian chef then you change your mind saying you can cook anything burgers hardly a chefs job haggis etc most chefs on the island cook a varied menu. bar 14 fully booked for weeks in advance effendi, ambiance, saint tropez and veni vici all top restaurants who dont need to come on here. you insinuate that your the only master chef when there are plenty other chefs as good if not better than you. we know your food is good but why come on here saying your the only proper italian chef just get on with it. by the way no insult to you or your restaurant just pointed out that burgers curry and haggis are not italian

nothing wrong with a bit of variety the Punjab does Sunday lunch and looked the bussiest restaurant in Lapta this Sunday. They are Indian / pakistani chefs are great at their national food but they can also cook English / European. And if you haven't tried Guido's believe me you are missing out their pate amongst other things is to die for.

And to all who asked (tongue in cheek) where Guidos is it is yes near the Golden Lady in Alsancak, other side of the road.
