India's first lunar mission has discovered signs of large quantities of water on the moon, NASA is about to make an announcement, it comes just a couple of weeks before Nasa deliberately crashes a module into the moons south pole in an attempt to discover if there is ice there

Could this bring a whole new dimension to the moon race ?

RE msg 1, Lazy days: (...) Could this bring a whole new dimension to the moon race ? (...)

=> And "religion"..? No offense meant, just an innocent thought: "God created the world and put some spare water on the moon?"

I'm not sure of your news sources but only small amounts of residual water has been discovered within rocks.

Surely not, Vaughan - not with Cypriot ingenuity - any advocate will convince you of the total viability of such a project!

We still have all the water that there always has been in the world. It has been recycled millions of times since the world began. Most of the worlds water is undrinkable (sea water), most of the worlds rain falls on the sea and most of what's left is locked-up in Canada as ice and lakes.

RE msg 8, wynyardman: (...) Can you let me know when they start putting hops in it.! (...)

=> I fear this is the kind of "friendly debate" "amongst the 'old' posters" you were advocating in other threads?

Now is the time to start buying land on the Moon and I'm not joking.

Founded in 1999, the Lunar Republic Society is dedicated to establishing a human presence on the Moon through private enterprise. Via its sales affiliate, the Lunar Registry (The Earth's Leading Lunar Real Estate Agency), the Republic sells a variety of Moon plots, by the acre.

Cost: $18.95 to $37.50 per acre.

What You Get: Lunar Registry is currently offering "select" property on the Sea of Vapors for only 18.95 per acre and in the Lunar Alps for 31.25. Note that there is no sea (or vapor) in the Sea of Vapors and no snow on the Lunar Alps. Your deed is engraved on parchment-like paper, plus you get a satellite photograph of your property, as well as a brochure detailing attractions in the area. There is a $10 shipping and handling fee.

DC,

Until I came across you on the board, I thought a D&C was a minor inconvenience. Its good to know that I was right first time.

Take care,

DC.

If you believe in god you are on a loser.

I do not believe you are stupid, therefore you know as well as I that no one has any rights to sell moon plots. You are not a builder in the TRNC are you?
