Can anyone advise if the Car Tax Office accepts payment by Debit or Credit Card, or does one have to take cash ???

The bigger and heavier the car, the more expensive it becomes.

Either Neg Nick is driving a trabant or he is getting confused. 100tl is the MOT cost.

As whistler says road tax depends on weight plus age plus type of fuel.

You do get a discount for older vehicles, and another discount if you have no speeding or other traffic offences recorded against the vehicle.

Also smaller, lighter vehicles are considerably cheaper than 'gas guzzlers'

newscoop,

Oh NO!

Was it in the paper at all? - I never heard anything about it, probably one of the weeks when I missed getting the paper...

Never mind, I still get the discount for being an old banger

Does anyone know how they decide what is or isn't a jeep. We just bought a Hyundai Santa fe urban, this is only front wheel drive not a 4x4 but the road tax last year was 1500 tl I consider it to be more of a 'high' saloon than a jeep.
