Hi all,

News on SKY today

Gordon Brown last minute climb down on 10p in £1 band.

Humiliation and embarrassment for the Goverment as they conceded to their own MPs.

Uproar in The House of Commons as Cameron humiliates Brown

Seems to me like an almost daily occurance for this motley bunch.

£800 per annum increase on average families food bills.

Diesel on sale at £1.45 per litre on the forecourt.

Man fined £260 and given a criminal record for overfilling wheelie bin.

Is it time to give up and sell up and head for sunnier climes in the TRNC?

To true,

We should all start by kicking out Red Ken and voting in Boris on thr first of May and then give them a reaql goog whooping in the local elections.

I thought the Conservertives needed a good kick up the arse, in 1993 and they got it, but this shower are even worse.

It does begger the question: Which British Government did anything postive for its people and put the people of the country first and not themselves?

what about us, in france, we are sinking since one year, when i think thee are 4 more years to go i am horrified of the situation france is going to be - every market is bad, people are getting poorer and poorer beside the fact that the euro is very high it doesn't bring more food into the housewife basket all the rights we have been fighting for are decreasing - and the french cannot afford an other revolution because they are broke - i am maybe the only one to be concerned about france but it makes me better to say so

Now I know why we sold up and moved to TRNC. Not been easy setting up a new life but when you read this stuff it makes you feel good about being here.

It was very interesting in hearing the French perspective on current world problems

We have a thread running on this Board Pools (on swimming pools)

Do you know anyone with a Desjoyaux Swimming Pool? We are looking for references from

people, who have used this unique French product, for a number of years. Can you help?

Here's a follow up to the fat persons thread, I don't know about him throwing up the whole goverment makes me want to throw up, every one has a smirky smile on their face, we know why they have all been in the trough

Why ho why are the british public so apathetic, we have been shafted by this government for the last 10 years and still we do nothing about it.

Fuel gone through the roof. mostly because of the tax loaded on.

Groceries 30% more expensive

Alcohol tax ( pubs a british institute closing down by the 1000)

10p tax abolished, Now Mr brown will do something to compensate for this in the autumn budget. Load of B s

NHS turned into a gravy train for managers not the actual workers.

Northern Rock no need to say any more on that subject.

Utility companies charging what they want to make massive profits

Immigrant workers claiming benifits for their supposed kids in there own country, £26 million last year was claimed, no one checks if the kids even exist.

Supermarkets making £2.8 billion thats more than some countries GDP

Fighting wars that we should not be involved in, due to some smarmy faced bastard who sold us down the river to put himself on the world stage with the other arshole Bush. a war we will be paying for the next 50 years in money, never mind the heart ache of the bereaved families who have lost there loved ones.

There are so many quangos there are now quangos investigating quangos, another gravy train for the already well heeled.

I bought in NC initialy for a holiday home now I think it's time to re think, i would agree there is no country in the world a perfect place to live but the UK is now the pits and the laughing stock of the world.

If there is a solution to the north/ south problem , NC will be over run by people who want a better life than they have in the over taxed country they now call home.

I am soory for rambling on but i am sure there must be many more who think as i do, and are thinking of moving lock stock and barrel to a place where people smile and are welcoming.

I thought the 10p tax band was still being scrapped, and 22p tax band was still

staying down at 20p. Well done Gordon.

I hope the T R N C is not becoming the home of the Tories.

If you voted Labour then you must be happy in the UK - no need to leave - I must say I'm grateful to Tony Blair - he's one of the reasons we decided to go - so Thank You New Labour!

Watty,

Are you a little uptight about our Supreme Leader Brown, Millies Band and the rest of the Motley Bunch?

The Sedgefild Gargoyle has moved on to greener pastures, better paid than Government.

Take note of fredreds posting! He obviously found greener pastures in the TRNC.

I didn't mean this to be a thumbs up for the tory party, just statng facts of life, it's funny that now that very few people admit that they voted for this load of

tossers in the first place, so called party for the working man.

It would seem a lot of people have forgot how we suffered under the Tories,

Remember the rundown state they left our Hospitals and Schools, the long unemployment queues, how can you trust them again.

It is no wonder the nation got rid of them

I too am concerned by what is happening in France as my employer is a major French Company. My shares seem to be hitting rock bottom at the moment.

I have not forgotten how the tories made a mess of things,in 1980s interest rates at 17% etc, but the point i was trying to make is that this shower now are rubbing our noses in the crap they make.

The uk is suppoed to a democracy not a country run by a PM who will do what he wants and what he say's go's. and sod any body who objects. including his own MPs

Petrol prices don't matter so much. You can't get any. Because of this ere strike, they have

Where the smiling assasin showed his true self there was the comunist party threw red Ken out, only to beg him to return whe was voted in as mayor of London, sadest thing of all though was,in true 'line your own pockets style' he caved in and returned to flock.

Er ud mek a good Prime Minister. Make sure no one enjoyed life, like this lot.

The quicker we kick out this motley bunch the better. If we dont move quickly there will be nothing left of Great Britian. England has never know hardworking taxpayers leaviing its shores, in such droves.

Fredred the old addage...."will the last man to leave please turn out the lights" may well

apply to you,......that is if the Russians have'nt done it first.

Thought I done a good job until I started hitting the ceiling again and again. i found out the b****rd sold me a bungi rope. I think its time to leave the UK for ever.

Have to say Wyn that unless Britain moves fast to remove the "Great" it will probably be fined millions by the Eu Commision for Pointless Objectives for missrepresentation.

Only thing 'Great' about Britiain is if you want large hand outs, or have a criminal inclination, then it's certainly the place to be to receive others hard earned cash, or help to get off with the crime.

We left as had enough of the 'theiving pick pocket' (then residing at No 11, who in my opinion has as much creadability as a Nigerian scam aritist, and enugh of the fact that if you prevent a crimal in action, you are likely to be the one prosecuted!
