Just read thread regarding boxer puppies missing, and just turned page of Cyprus Today to see 35 puppies have been dumped in Dortoyl village, how sad is this news. I am totally amazed and dumbfounded at this.

There will probably be some more after seeing 5 dogs chasing a dog on heat last week.

It really gets you down!

I was actually amazed last time we were over a couple of weeks ago. I've never seen so

many dogs. I nearly killed 4or5 driving along. Something really has to

be done.

35 puppies!!! I wonder if they were stolen from some sort of puppy farm...in which case i don't know whats worse...puppy farming or stealing and dumping! I think they should all be euthanised, as in message 2...they will all be pregnant soon enough....

DD

In the news report it states that they were placed in nets outside a shop and a couple of rumours from locals are: they were placed there as they were being picked up and being taken to the South and also they had been brought from the South. Who knows.. the mind boggles. a dogs life is very cheap here.

I'm with DD, sad as it is, they must be euthanised - a pack of feral dogs (which they will doubtless end up as) isn't fair to them or anyone else.....

Perhaps we are all taking the wrong path re the dog problem, should we perhaps start a campaign to have dogs neutered? perhaps a money token, or some incentive for all dogs brought to a centre to be neutered, and the pups euthanised that are found like this. I believe that GB had a big prob with cats, the cat league I think encouraged people to take their pets to be done free of charge, now could something like this be formed in NC with the help of Kar? Any ideas? ......
