Just read in Cyprus Today a quarter page add for companies being invited to register an 'expression of interest' for supplying 204 right hand drive vehicles to the UN Cyprus on a rental basis with the contract being for a three year period with an option for a two year extension. Do they expect to be around for that long? AJ

Don't care how long they are here, as long as they stay on the Greek side. Do you think the Greeks will let them import vehicles from the TRNC? A moot point perhaps?

AMAZING how something like giving all Cypriots a chance to quote for vehicles bring out the "conspiratorial twisters" .. AJ, I VERY much doubt a procurement team, is privy to long-term UN plans, nor knows the likelihood of any referendum !

Seems like a lot of vehicles for such a small contingent. Anyway, if/when they leave they can always sell them/take them with them.
