| Privately owned 'Invacare' wheelchair as supplied and approved by NHS in UK. This 'as new', little used unit can be simply and quickly dismantled for loading into the boot, or hatchback. It has twin electric motors, powered by two 12v (car) batteries. There are two battery chargers - one for home use and a lighter, smaller one for travelling. It has a range of 13 kilometres. What's that 8 miles? It has very good climbing ability - it can climb kerbs and steep drives and hills! Its movement - forwards, bckwards, direction and speed is simply controlled by one short lever, with one hand. Replacement cost new in UK is £2,900-00 + ; I am only asking approx. 1/3rd of the new price, so it is a genuine bargain. Before enquiring it would be advisable to 'Google' (on UK pages) 'Invacare Harrier Plus' for full specifications. If interested, please phone: 0392- 8150394 (Roy). |
