I see that you can now pay for extra baggage through the Pegasus website. Does this increase your weight allowance or does it mean that you can bring an extra bag within your 25Kg allowance. I think the norm now is that you are still restricted to the original weight allowance. Thanks in advance for any advice. Jim

Not sure. I only know I flew in last week with 24.9 kgs (what a clever girl I am!) as I understood 25kg is allowed. Great stuff! As to extra, take a look at Pegasus website and if unsure send them an e mail.

Its for an extra bag BUT within the weight limit of 25kg which I think is being reduced to 20kg soon. It is not for an extra weight allowance only additional bags

Dawn is correct: Pegasus:- Free baggage allowance is for full fare passengers (not infants). Additional bags or packages in the hold will be charged at £8.00 per person Current weight limits for hold baggage for the UK routes will be reduced from 25Kg to to 20Kg per person soon. Your e-ticket will show what you are allowed at present extra weight can be charged (and usualy is). Tom http://www.flightholiday.co.uk

Scoobydoo - different dates have different allowances as do different routes which is why I have suggested check on your etickets - that is why we send them to our customers. Tom info@flightholiday.co.uk

We have always flown with a number of bags without problems. My understanding is that as long as you are within the weight allowance, it doesn't matter how many bags/cases/packages you have - or has this changed?

Laptagal - Pegasus flights - it has changed now every passenger with a weight allowance (not infants) is allowed one baggae in the hold and will be charged if they have more than one for each extra package if it is within or over the free weight allowance. You will still have to pay your excess baggage weight. If you have lots clients might take up our excess baggage service again (airfreight from Stansted).
