Jimbobbobbin,

It really depends where you are going to be staying. If in Girne you could try Niazis on Boxing Day. And all the hotels have festivities on New Years Eve (hogmanay).

I hope there will be some Christmasy things early in December as we are leaving for a few days in Istanbul and then back to England for Christmas. Anyone know of any seasonal events in the first couple of weeks of December?

Hi Sloan

I will be posting about an event called The Supper Club which if you like Rat Pack Music you will love, it will be happening at the Rocks Hotel on Sunday 6th December. The artist performing is coming from the UK especially and is the UK's no 1 Dean Martin Tribute Act, a show not to be missed. Will be posting details on here in a couple of weeks.

I will be posting on here in the next week details of tickets etc, I have seen this guy in the UK and he is fantastic, there will also be another Supper Club dance in June 2010 with the "Rat Pack boys" from UK, not to be confused with the Rat Pack Show. All events will be based around the Rat Pack, swing era. These will all be in support of The Children in Need Foundation. A chance to listen to some great music, get dressed up and have a dance, something Cyprus is in desperate need of. Tickets for the Dean Martin Tribute are currently on sale at Shabby Chic in Kyrenia. Price is 60tl per person which includes a set 2 course meal with coffee held at the Rocks Hotel in their Ballroom. Smart dress only.

Hi parkview

Is it a charity event? I remember talking to a gentleman in late August, at Manipeni's about an event like this which he said was for Children in Need. Is it the same event?

Hi Sheila

The one in December at the Rocks and again in June is in support of Chldren in Need. I presume its the same event he is talking about.

Delia
