I know that NC is a muslim country, and I worked in the middle east most of my life, so I know the feelings that many muslim countries have against pork and I will allways respect those feelings, however I have been told that there are shops in and arround Girne that sell pork and acoiciated items, could anybody tell me where I can get these items from, remember new boy in on the block, still getting to know the place slowly

Rogerthedodger, Pork may well form part of our particular "ethnic cuisine" but it may be slightly more sensitive to our hosts, to ask such detail off board. You could try Watty. He seems to be into that sort of thing! Wyn

Bell Foods, Tempo sell sausages and bacon (both frozen). There's a new shop on the left just after GAU which advertises bacon, pork and sausages. Not sure they are too sensitive wyn - they know that it brings in the bacon!! (excuse the pun) ltd
