| Family are currently visiting with their English registered car. On arrival at the port in Girnie they were given permission for their car to stay in the country for only one month. Told they have to go to the custom office in Lefkosa to have this extended. Can be extended for up to a year but you have to go every month to have this done.
Need to go soon but not sure where it is. Directions from Girnie needed. Can anyone out there help. Thanks |

| From Girne main roundabout in Lefkosa.
Turn left towards ATATURK stadium.
Through first set of lights.
keep going until you see the BRT aerials, the customs turning is just before this.
If you reach second lights, at garage turn left and double back, then turn right past Kombos about 150 metres customs on right. |

| Newscoop forgot to metion some iems that might help. turn left at the island this is prosuming that you went over the on the dual carrige way route. When you get to the island in Lefkosa (approx 11 km from Gerni) turn left watch out for the speed camera, you will see a TURKSELL arch you will then pass a what looks likes a miniture formula 1 Grandstand on your left, then just after the approaching set of lights go for about another 150yds look to your left for a merc garage set back a little off the main road, turn left by them go up, the road and on your right about 100yds is the customs office.
Hope this helps prosumed you didnt know the area very well if you do sory was just trying to make it easier for you.
