hello, we will for the first time be traveling soon from the UK overland to Northern Cyprus for a 2-3 month stay. Is vehicle insurance purchased for Northern Cyprus on Turkeys mainland port or on arrival at the Northern Cyprus port

I believe that you have to puchase insurance at Girne when you get off the Ferry in Northern Cyprus. They will offer you a 3rd party type insurance valid for a month. All other insurances including Green Card are invalid in North Cyprus.
