BA is to axe cabin crewe jobs in a cost ecutting exercisse whasts this about . They now have a mini Concoorde that is about to launch 32x passangers clearded in shannon and onwards to jfk. Now they axe the loyal staFf i will not undersdtand. Is it an ase thing. I worked as as cabin crew for 12 years with the and i really feel they have had a rough deal. We had to trAIN ON different aircarfts to know all the emeregy points. This is so sad for me our reunions will not be the same xx

Sad,but it`s called the free market, remember that one?B.A.concentrated on first class and upmarket fares, now this market has declined,I think they realise the budgets have got it right.

Lilli..the point I dont like is them being allowed to engage new staff at lower wages.Stinks!!!Wonder if the senior managers are going to be got rid of and re-employed on lower wages. Now that would definitely help them out of their hard times.Too many chiefs and not enough Indians(the ones with the feathers)....

Lilli..I would like to see the staff perform a complete stoppage. Its about time these so called business chiefs realised that they cannot make other people redundant because of there bad management.Lets see how many senior managers go in this cost cutting exercise.None I bet.If the firm is in that much trouble get a new set of bosses who know what they are doing, trouble is they are are all working for Richard Branson.
