I am moving to Alsancak at the end of the year. I shall be looking to buy white goods and furniture for my apartment. Does anyone know of any retailers that will supply these at a reasonable price and deliver. Thanks.

we got excellent prices and service when we bought an oven, washing machine and dishwasher from Osman Oztay of Halos trading, Alsancak. They have all the good makes, AEG, Electrolux Sharp etc and very reasonable prices.



We had old appliances that still worked and we asked if he would be able to take them away - he did better than that; he suggested we donate them to SOS in Girne and his van collected them and took them there for us - no charge.

I agree with jax47 Halos trading definately the cheapest and best in this area for white goods. Mermaid fabrics are fabulous for curtains and furniture (made on the premises) they always deliver on time, fit the curtain poles/ rails, hang the curtains and everything is made to the highest possible standard.

Try nextdoor in catalkoy between Lemar and the hotel very good prices on curtains and furniture and they fit them

hi we have white goods; lcd /sat /small house hold goods/ air cons /heaters in doors and out bbq/ kitchen stalls/ water coolers/ ice makers etc our shop is ARGOS R US in karakum girne next to erdener super market and turkish bank all our iteams have 3yrs warranty and 10 years parts with free delivery and fitting pop in when ready thanks

i just got a vacuum cleaner and water dispenser from Halos in Karakum (opp lemar) after checking prices in a few places...they had the most choice and reasonable prices
