Hi Can anyone give me the name of a reputable central heating person that is able to move a boiler flue at our villa? The boiler needs to stay where it is but the flue needs to be moved from the wall that is also the entrance to our villa (choke if the boiler is on and you come to the front door) to move to the outside wall of the villa. We did speak to someone called Gary who is a plumber and was going to look into doing it for us but we haven't seen or heard of him in ages. Please can anyone help.

Fanned flued boilers in general can have a flue length of no more than 3 meters, this length will reduce depending upon how many bends are used, if the new flue run is greater than this you will have problems with the boiler expeling spent gases.

Hi Thanks for that info, the flue is only about half a metre long where it is situated now and where it needs to be moved is no more than a metre away from the boiler. It would only need one more bend as well (I think), the one it has out of the boiler now and another to turn it to go out to the outside wall. I know nothing about boilers though so need someone to come and take a look and tell me what it needs. I already have the extra section of flue but not the bend. I just need a really good central heating person to do the job.
