I need a large 6 volt car battery, I've tried most of the tyre & battery places with no luck.

If anyone knows a dealer/shop that has one, please let me know.

Another option is to get mine re-celled but where?

Have you tried the garage opposite Astro Supermarket, I bought one there a few months ago and they have a large selection, if not they are so helpful they will get one in for you

Richard,

It's for a 1929 Chrysler.

The battery is about 14" long, 7" wide & 8" tall. but a smaller one will do.

The MGB's batteries are quite small but if I could get hold of one it might help.
