Anyone know where I can get the radio/cd in the car changed over?

Is there anyone out there who could change the car radio over for me or know a man who can? I have a new one ready to go in.

What make of car is it and is it the cars original fitted unit?

Reason: Who ever does it will need the right removal tools to take out the old radio/cd



Do you have a workshop manual for your car?

Reason: Bet you bottom dollar that the wiring for your new radio/cd will be different to the old wiring and if you have installation documents for the new unit then the two lots of info will have to be matched up.

I was recommended to an electrical guy next to Ya Beles (F & V) on the Alsancak road. He fitted a CD autochanger to my VW golf, no problem, charged me 25TL

I would recommend the electrical auto garage in karaoglanoglu, they are very prompt and very reasonable, worth a visit even for a quote.

I am in UK at the moment and will look up these guys when I return. It is not the original cd/radio AJ but I think I have the book for installation.

The garage that Jock refers to is Vurdu, Mehmet and his son Berat, they do a good job and are very reasonable. Pass Tempo on the left as you head in to Girne and they are situated next to the garage with the big Fiat sign, also on the left.
