If you have any photographs of furniture most carpenters will copy them. also try Fiskos opposite Donaghy&Beyler estate agents in Girne.

we just had sideboard table nest and tv unit made in beech by the carpenter by the Alsancak arch.

took in the pics from the Next catalogue, told him our dimmensions, delivered 3 weeks later

homefront can alter most anything (size and shape)



from their ranges of stained wood, or iron furniture



dunno about them making "unique" stuff



ie radically different from anything sold elsewhere



there was an outfit in famagusta think it is called



cyprus handmade furniture,



they also run wood carving classes



they'd certainly claim their stuff is unique



though it is not terribly cheap



on the general subject of made to order



cyprus 74 pottery wokshop is on the right hand side



leaving town in the alsancak direction



about ten minutes from kyrenia



specialise in large pots and amphorae made on premises

If you're looking for unique then I would suggest Burhan (www.burhanltd.com ) but you really need to go into the shop to appreciate the lovely things that they have. There are some beautiful antique pieces that have been refurbished or just maybe an old cupboard door used as the basis of a new piece of furniture. They also have lovely lamps, rugs, cushions etc and material for upholstery and curtains.
