Found this little piece in the paper Tony.
MONARCH Airlines will this weekend hold its biggest ever sale with huge discounts available on all flights, all dates for travel until October 30, 2010.
Book online at http://www.monarch.co.uk between Friday October 16 and Tuesday October 20, 2009 and get a fantastic bargain on flights to the United Kingdom, the airline said. |

| Just checked for a flight 12th Dec to 9th Jan came out at £444.44 for 2 with 1 case each 20kg. I have paid £430 for 2 with 25kg and meal & drink included with CTA. |

| Even the £6 flights seem to come out over 100 with luggage, ins. etc added onto the rest. |

| You can still get the prices although it starts on Friday, the flight out came up at £5 then started to add on the taxes, the return flight was £45.00 not £5 then added the taxes the result £444.44 |

| They should be referred to the advertising ombudsman. That is appalling ... and I think it is illegal in some other countries. What you see should be what you get. Even with Ryanair, you can hunt through and find flights without taxes etc added. |

| Got a return flight to the dark side 29th November-16th december with easyjet from Gatwick £183 for 2 including extras. £478 with CTA, £383 with Pegasus, £443 with turkish Airlines. Crazy!!

| Is it just me or are the flights today the same as they have been for weeks, I been watching the prices for a few weeks and they are the same albeit they say they are in the sale ?
Must be one of those "special" sales !! |

| Just been looking at flights for next April and Cyprus Airways from Manchester is cheaper than Monarch, also includes food. £426 for 2 people with very good flight times.

| Been looking for flights next Feb for Daughter plus one child. Monarch: Man - Larnaca £236 plus extra for luggage. Easyjet : Man - Paphos £150, including 40kg luggage.
