What a lot of rubbish this mornings meeting was at the Pia Bella Hotel hosted by the PM. Only one question was asked, mine; Sir, the largest net financial contributors to the TRNC economy outside Turkey is the expatriate community so why are we deprived of the vote? I went with an American/Turk friend who translated for me. The reply was we can if we are citizens! The Minister of Interior took me aside and said it was set in the TRNC Constitution, I asked which one? And he walked away! Looking around, I think I was the only alien there! Richard

All you have to do is get citizenship, which I was told by an employee in the immigration dept, that they had not issued any for the last 2 years to foreigners

Keith The question was rhetorical already knowing the 'none' answer that was given. I was stirring! Richard
