A couple of months ago this board was almost daily dominated by 'news' from a TC businessman, "Tycoon Tommy". An office tower annex restaurant in Nicosia, Want a job? Send your CV. A restaurant near Famagusta, ads about the opening will be in all the news papers (did I miss them?). Want a job? Send your CV. A history book about Cyprus. Etc, etc etc. I'm fond of 'follow-up news' so I wonder what happened to the tycoon and the people who sent him a CV. Did you find a job in his young imperium? Or... were my doubts justified..?!

Hans - I asked a similar question on here a short while ago. The only positive response was from Lilli, who said she had seen him at the restaurant and that he was very busy.



Apart from that - nothing!

Come on DC, don't be so cynical...everybody knows that at this moment in time he is hard at work in one of his other guises, that is to say Global Ambassador on a mission to save the world. Believe he was last seen talking to Mr Obama, advising him on how to save the world from economic melt down that was just after he found a cure for Aids and invented a vaccine for swine flu. This guy works hard you know, no sleeping on the job for him. Seems a long time ago now that he had some of the women on here with their tongues hanging out and women of a certain age saying things that perhaps they should not have. Ah well thats life i guess.

I have spoken to him recently with regard to building a proposed swimming pool on the roof of the office block in Lefkosa. The other scheme (leisure?) is still proceeding but I believe it may be in Famagusta rather than Girne (I stand to be corrected).

Having spoken to him recently as he still has time to eat. He is on schedule. He brings his archoitects etc in and I can honestly say they are very busy working oin schedule xEager if you saw him you would know why women drool over him. He is one handsome fellow with a lot of talent xxxxxxxx

Ismet, "Tycoon Tommy" was 'planning' to do business with your daughter. No figures needed of course, but how did it work out? After you announcement on this board we deserve an update, don't we..?!

Did anyone see the advertisements for the restaurant (or whatever) opening in September 2009 (--- ---) near Famagusta?

And after all the silence on this board after my message 1 - no jobs provided by "Tycoon Tommy"?

Well, I remember how I was told in former messages to give Tommy a break, not to be a cynic etc etc. Hmm.
