Shipping from TRNC to UK

Hi there

Can anyone recommend any shipping companies that ship items from the TRNC to the UK.



My mother is thinking of moving back to the UK and has a small amount of stuff to bring back mainly in suitcases or boxes and wants some idea of the cost and time time involved.



She doesn't have large items of furniture just a few things she wants to bring back so may be able to share a container if anyone is shipping stuff back.



Any help would be much appreciated.

We used a man with a van. He picked our stuff up at our villa and delivered it to our house in the UK. Excellent service and a very helpfull Guy. Contact details are ismail in Lapta 05428569756. or you can find more details in the ravine bar in Alsancak.

Worked out cheaper than the usual moving companys. Also you get the same person who picks it up delivers it.

Emel denizcilik is legal shipping company it is not cheapest that you can find but it is safe company.

My mum only has a few items to bring back - no white goods or furniture just processions that she doesnt want to part with. So far I have contacted Olly Trans to not hear anything and had a response back from Dolphin. One thing that isn't included in the costs is customs clearance etc.



Does anyone know anyone that is having a container to ship back stuff to the UK and for my mother to help towards the costs if they have any extra room in it as all of her stuff will fit in the back of a estate car or small trailer.

Ismail normally charges 50 pounds for a 4 CU FT box. He does all the custom paperwork. Or the whole Transit van for about 1500 pounds but you can get a lot in it with clever packing.

Dont know what is happening to emails but have tried Olay Trans and they have not replied to emails. Still havent got through to Ishmail and no email from Jo Valentine. Anyone else had any luck getting any replies.
