Sharny Is there no possibility you could attend GAU or Sunny Lane. Education is so important for you at this critical age, Best of luck for the future.

Sharne, This may seem a daft question. Where are your parents? I can not believe that a 15 year old girl may be on her own over here. If not it is your parents duty to send you to school and look after you. You are under age to even think of working in a bar and shame on those that are recommending ones to you. Something is not right here. This does not add up.

Nurse awful, Sharn can not re sit the year again, unfortunatley this is the way the education system works out here. She is going to go back to the UK next year and take her GCSE's but just needs something to keep her occupied meanwhile. She was offered a job a few weeks back in a local cafe but was let down, her confidence needs boosting!!!

Hi Sharny, Can I suggest you go with your Mum to Deniz Plaza, the recruitment policy there tends to be gauged towards female students, teenagers and School leavers, It would be a great opportunity for you to learn about literature and the arts, learn some Turkish and deal primarily with the expat customer base. Do not worry about any language barrier as most of the girls speak a little English. Good Luck

i would re sit the year but i was in year 8 and in that year you can only re sit the year twice and then you cannot go back unless you pass an exam

Sharne, you do not get kicked out of school for not nowing enough Turkish. I know many English children who go to Turkish school and speak very little Turkish. You have to be willing to learn! I have children of my own who go to Turkish school and have very little Turkish. The School , are aware of this and are giving the 'English' children extra Turkish lessons. If you compromise and are willing to learn they will help you. I do know that if you miss school for more than 15 days with no explanation they will 'dimiss you' Every one can learn if they want to!

This is not a genuine post, just my opinion of course, and if I am wrong then her parent/parents should be making sure she has an education..something just not gelling here.

You should come to England wıthout no delay, and get yourself enrolled in a UK secondary school without no more delay so you can prepare you GCSES for May 2010.
