Derek Heaney makes his first ever appearence in North Cyprus at JKs Bar on Friday 6TH Nov. He is often

called "SCOTLANDS FRANK SINATRA" and has appeared in London, Paris and New York

I can't wait !!

Ive heard about this guy, supposed to be a great entertainer, sings a good mixture of old jazz and swing , full of energy.

How many Frank Sinatra,s can there be on an island this size, unless of course the one at Veni Vichi is the real one come back for another final concert.

You are of course welcome to your opinion. However the response to "SAPPHIRE" last Friday was good. For myself I think Its quite nice to have guitars, keyboard etc as change from backing tracks. We will therefore be

booking "SAPPHIRE" again.

In reply to message 21 the reason he is here is because we got lucky. He has been appearing in Hotels and clubs in the south. We managed to get him to a gig for us but, we have to put him and his roadies up in an Hotel so its quite a costly exercise for us. So lets not prejudge the guy, please come along and lets see how good he is. I spoke to guy who saw him in Pafos and he told me he was the business!

Yes, it was a great night. So many people and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We had to leave a bit early but it was certainly packed by the time we left. Hopefully he will be on again and we will be able to stay and enjoy the whole show.
