This Friday, we will be in Halloween mode !!!!

So come down and take a look (costume is optional). There will be a prize for the best Fancy Dress, the competition is at 11am.

For every 5tl spent, you will receive a tombola ticket,which can be exchanged at our 'Tombola' stall. There are lots of different prizes,many donated by the stall-holders themselves.



There will be a special menu and Tea/Coffee and Halloween cake for 5tl.

The Carpenters Restaurant/Garden is situated just off of the main road, on the left, just before the 'Bektas' supermarket, if you are driving towards Girne.

Coming the other way.....first turning on the right after the supermarket. Look out for the signs at the end of the road.

Just a general question - I am interested in having a stall at your market. How much do stalls cost?



I will possibly sell food - what kind of food can I sell? Also, I have a lot of children's clothes and toys to sell - is this something I can sell at your market?

stalls are free, but very occasionally you may be asked to donate 5tl towards a bit of advertising.

We would be very happy for you to come and have a stall with us. But, because its a restaurant you are not allowed to sell food (unless its frozen). Anything else is ok.

Why not give it a try this Friday, or come down and take a look.

You will have to provide your own table and chair (and umbrellas, if you need one). In the garden area its quite shady, but if you prefer to sell from your car (in the car park), you may need one.

Stall-holders get there at about 9am and just ask for Maureen.

For sale, theres lot of organic produce, jams, free-range eggs, fresh veg etc, books, jewellery, Cypriot crafts,

Original paintings, the charity stall has lots of bric-a-brac, homemade cards, dvds (the latest films), plants, Tina's pashminas, cds, clothes. Kens frozen pies and much much more.

You name it you'll probably find it there.

Market officially starts at 10.00 and finishes at 1.00

Well we had loads of folks turn up ........ more than usual. I just hope they keep coming as we're there every Friday (weather permitting).

Unfortunatly, quite a few stall packed up early due to rain..........

But, don't let that put you off of coming !!



Most will be at Chateau tomorrow as well as the Karakum market on Sunday.
