A 2 bed villa will cost less to paint than a three bed villa because the house is smaller hence a smaller square meteride to paint thats why i suppose they go by the square mtr, but they do allow for windows and doors.

A 3 bed villa is roughly £700 give or take £50, Some charge more some charge less. It will be less if you supply your own paint.

Ha ha ha teatime,

I can hardly believe that you asked that!

rd steve stated that the cost of getting someone to paint the outside of a 3 bed villa would depend on the size of the house - and THEN went on to explain WHY it would cost more - the reason obviously being that it costs roughly £1.60 per square meter.

The more square meters, the higher the cost of painting the Villa!

Get it?

Well I thought that it was very funny, anyway.

Lets make this simple for all the people that don't understand. The senario below is hypothetical not real in otherwords

A house wall with no windows in is 8mtrs in hight by 8 mtrs in length gives you a total of 64 sq mtrs

8 x 8 = 64

64 multiplyed by £1.60 is £102.40p for painting that wall.

There are 4 side to a house (useally) 102.40 x 4 = total cost to paint the house is £409.60

Every house is different in size

A genuine tradesman will use the above calculations a cowboy will do his maths on a fag packet.

Next silly question,

By the way thanks Keith glad someone is on my wavelength

No offence meant Stev, I realised it was only a typo, but it was amusing, to me anyway, sorry.

If you want a 'no obligation' quote then contact Burcin on 05338487556 and tell him that Dave said that he should give you a good price. Go for the Marshall/Sandtex option. If you want to e-mail me then I can sort it out for you.

AJ is correct. Always use the best paint and a good exterior filler etc, if new work a good sealer applied first.

I’m lucky enough to be able to do all my own painting inside and out, wall paper not a bother either. All t oa very high standard of finish....preperation is the hardwork.

Get references and recommendations.....as the old builders saying is....If you can pi@@, ya can paint!

Just had a villa in Karsiyaka painted external by a man named Sali. He done a really good job considering the state of the walls before he started. The painting is the easy part it is the preparation that takes the time and money and if not done properly will just be a waste of time painting over it. Not telling anyone how to suck eggs by the way, what would I know being an ex lollypop man. Sali number if you want a genuine no extra charges quote is 0533 8738590.

My commission is charged at 75% of the final bill thank you all so much...............javascript:;
